Packaging - Making Your Mark on the Markets: ARRA Branding
Gilad Sadan, Managing Director of N.A.V.I. Co. Global Australia, a fresh produce marketing agency which specializes in packaging, recently visited the Grapa offices and shared with us his packaging insights and the latest trends coming out of Europe. It was very interesting for the Grapa team to hear about the direction that fresh produce packaging is heading and we received a greater understanding of what is possible in using packaging to market fresh produce.
As Gilad explained. “Packaging is a hot topic on everyone’s lips and whilst there is currently a negative connotation around packaging in fresh produce, there also lives a huge opportunity to market fresh produce and brand to stand out from the competition.”
Pictured below are amazing examples of table grape packing formats, as presented by Gilad at the recent Fruit Logistica Exhibition, that are new, innovative and in-line with current consumer concerns for more eco-friendly packing alternatives.
Gilad and Fruit Master Pty Ltd have together developed resealable punnets of a single-serving of loose, stemless, washed and ready-to-eat grapes.

In line with the expansion of ARRA branding worldwide and given the importance of branding as an effective marketing tool, we would like to use this opportunity to remind you of the ARRA branding options available.
For all the marketing of ARRA varieties which is not done through Giumarra, there are two options of worldwide ARRA varieties branding available to all ARRA licensees for produce that meets the ‘Minimum Quality Specifications’:
Option 1. Worldwide branding offered by Grapa Option 2. Use of own ARRA brand design.
