As we pause to reflect on the incredible journey of 2023, I am filled with immense pride in the progress and development of the ARRA varieties. Each one of you has played a crucial role in this success, and it is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion that defines the ARRA family.
This year marked a significant breakthrough with the ARRA varieties. Hilary, the first tropical storm to hit the West Coast in over eight decades, severely impacted the California table grape growers during their peak season. In a world grappling with climate change and extreme weather conditions, the ARRA varieties proudly offer a solution to benefit growers and minimize the risks they face.
The ARRA varieties have not only captured the international stage but have flourished. We have created high demand for many new releases and improved production quality in many of our existing varieties with the help of our agents and technical teams worldwide. This year, the spotlight was on our red varieties, creating a buzz and generating demand, particularly in regions lacking successful red solutions. As farmers ourselves, we understand the economic challenges our growers face, and Grapa remains steadfast in its commitment to providing table grape varieties that ease their burdens.
As we step into 2024, our confidence is higher than ever. The synergy within the ARRA family, encompassing vision and the array of the ARRA varieties are aligned to bring high-quality table grapes that meet the market demands and needs. The ARRA breeding program, equipped with a repertoire of top-notch varieties, stands stronger and more resilient than ever.
Driven by unwavering determination, foresight, and a commitment to innovation, we look forward to a bright and full future ahead. Together, we are ready for the exciting journey that 2024 promises.
Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and passion. Here’s to GRAPE things ahead!
The Crush Everyone’s talking about!

Igniting the senses
Just in time for the festive season, the inaugural batch of ARRA Fire Crunch™ made its way from Peru to the USA. Karl Conrads, founder, CEO of Grapasa accompanied the first year vines from budbreak all the way to Walmart facilities in Los Angeles.

Sharing the passion – Right now in Southern Africa:
“It’s a great, beautiful grape, we are having a great time packing it.” shares Gabriel Viljoen of G.P. Viljoen Farming
We’ve heard other growers excited about this year’s performance.
“The ARRA Passion Fire was probably the most beautiful red grapes around on our farms.”
Start the season with a Kiss
This year, attendees got a firsthand look at ARRA Fire Kiss™ in Egypt. What stood out was how distinctly different it was from the Flame, leaving no doubt that it is the perfect Flame replacement.
