Welcome to the Brazilian ARRA™ family

Last week, the Grapa Brazil held a special field day to welcome our new licensees and ensure an excellent first harvest of ARRA Sweeties™. Approximately 100 people participated, including ARRA growers and technical managers. The morning was filled with valuable insights about plant development, pruning, and all the required crop management up to harvest time. There was significant interaction with the growers, highlighting key success factors to maintain our variety as the leading white variety produced in Brazil. Everyone was very excited about the variety and confident in the support from the Brazilian team.

Augusto Prado, President of Grapa Brazil reflects on the day: “Our aim was to welcome our producers so that they can be sure that the Grapa Brasil team will be with them throughout the production process.”

The Grapa Brazil Team

The visitors’ feedback from the event was very positive, highlighting the great support by the Grapa Brazil team and how essential this support is to secure their business success.

We are delighted to share some testimonials we received from several guests:

"I would like to thank Augusto and the entire Grapa Brazil team for the great event on Saturday, this exchange of information between the producers especially the information passed on by Augusto. I think we should always have this information exchange so we can produce better and better produce and quality. I congratulate the whole team on all these, especially about irrigation, the formation of the definitive plant, de-sprouting, and Gibb application timings. So it's a very good variety, but as it has its particularities, the event made me feel so much more confident that I am producing quality with Grapa varieties."

"I congratulate Augusto and the entire Grapa team on Saturday's event. I hope this model of event happens every three months because nobody grows alone and this exchange of experience between producers and Grapa is very important."

"I'd like to thank Grapa for the event, for its organization, punctuality, and clarifications about the variety, and to say that we're ready for this new challenge, which I'm sure will bring us excellent results! And even more so with the support of the Grapa Brazil team."

“I attended the field day with my farm technician Bruno da Silva, and it was very useful for us. Dr. Augusto, together with his Grapa team, gave an excellent presentation, in a very didactic, practical and educational way, on how to manage and grow the ARRA Sweeties™. For those of us who are just starting out with this variety, which has established itself as one of the most important ones of fine table grapes in Brazil, it's a great new challenge to learn the right production system to achieve high levels of quality and productivity. It was extremely important to learn about integration, and exchanging information to achieve high levels of quality and productivity! On behalf of our team, I would like to congratulate and thank everyone in the GRAPA FAMILY!”
