Last week, Grapa Brazil held a special field day to welcome our new licensees and ensure an excellent first harvest of the ARRA Sweeties™ grapes. Approximately 100 people participated, including ARRA growers and technical managers. Read on to get a taste of this successful day.

The prominent industry magazine Fresh Plaza featured an interesting article about ARRA Sugar Drop in Sicily. Sammy Fisicaro, President of OPI Sicula recaps the seasons and shares his great impressions on the growing this crunchy variety.
Demonstrating a notable presence at the Fruitnet Grape Congress that took place in Puglia, Italy, Nomi Karniel-Padan, Commercial Director at Grapa, presented the resilience of the ARRA varieties. Nomi, along with the AVI team and Andre Vermaak, Global Tech Support Advisor for Grapa, were delighted to meet and welcome new and longtime members of the ARRA family.
We had the pleasure of hosting the Israeli ARRA growers at the annual local field day, where they had the exclusive opportunity to see various ARRA varieties grown in the country. The Field Day was held in the vineyards in the Lachish region in Southern Israel, and was directed by Grapa’s R&D director, Uzi Yaron.

Just in time for the festive season, the inaugural batch of ARRA Fire Crunch™ made its way from Peru to the USA. Karl Conrads, founder, CEO of Grapasa accompanied the first year vines from budbreak all the way to Walmart facilities in Los Angeles.
