Fruit Attraction, Madrid 2024

Although the weather in Madrid was rainy, the atmosphere inside this year’s Fruit Attraction exhibition was bright and shiny. The event marked the end of the Northern Hemisphere’s table grape season and set the stage for upcoming harvests in Southern Africa and South America.

The timing of the exhibition allows us to showcase grapes from various regions, and our attendees were delighted to compare the same varieties across different origins. The ARRA Sweeties™ from California, Brazil, and Italy, along with the ARRA Cherry Crush™ from California, Brazil, Greece, and Italy, and the blooming ARRA Mystic Dream™ from California, Greece, and Italy, truly stole the spotlight.

We held many fruitful meetings with producers, traders, and retailers. It was particularly rewarding to see marketers introduce retailers and producers to the opportunities of the ARRA varieties. Reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new industry players was a highlight- there’s something magical about connecting over our shared passion for table grapes. Exhibitions like this one are a great way to celebrate our accomplishments within the grape industry, and Madrid’s vibrant setting was the perfect backdrop.
